Introduction
Z & Z Wodoe Enterprise LLC presents the Cavalla River Bank Agriculture integrated Concept Note for a 250-hectare agriculture and livestock initiative along the Cavalla (Nuwon) River corridor. The program combines crop production, agro-processing, irrigation/drainage, and feeder-road access to catalyze livelihoods, food security, and rural enterprise across Dulay, Kentokpoglay, Yeaplay, and Guagortuo.
Z & Z Wodoe Enterprise LLC is pleased to share the Cavalla River Bank Agriculture & Livestock Program – Concept Note, to be implemented under Legacy Business Hug LLC (Registered 2023). This 250-hectare initiative links primary production, agro-processing, and enabling infrastructure to strengthen food security, rural incomes, and market access for communities in Dulay, Kentokpoglay, Yeaplay, and Guagortuo.
Program Overview – Cavalla River Bank Agriculture
- Location: Cavalla (Nuwon) River bank corridor with fertile alluvial soils and an on-site water pool.
- Approach: Integrated cropping + livestock, supported by irrigation/drainage and a feeder road from Dulay to the Site.
- Crops: Cassava, corn, peanuts, rice, and beans.
- Livestock: Poultry, goats, and pigs.
- Lead Implementer: Legacy Business Hug LLC, collaborating with community committees and technical partners.

- Irrigation & Drainage: River intake, primary/secondary canals, field application, contour/collector drains, control gates—designed for flood management and year-round cultivation.
- Feeder Road: Opening, formation, graveling, culverts/bridges from Dulay → project Site to lower transport costs and ensure market connectivity.
- Utilities & Support: Power sourcing, storage, workshops, training centre, and QA/QC for food safety (HACCP-ready).
Implementation Phasing (24–30 Months) – Cavalla River Bank Agriculture
- Phase 1 (Months 1–6): Mobilization, detailed designs, road opening, land prep (80–100 ha).
- Phase 2 (Months 7–12): Irrigation/drainage build-out; commission cassava & rice lines; initiate livestock.
- Phase 3 (Months 13–18): Commission corn & peanut lines; scale cropping to 150–180 ha.
- Phase 4 (Months 19–24): Commission beans line; expand livestock; implement QA systems and certifications.
- Phase 5 (Months 25–30): Optimize operations; expand markets; formalize producer cooperative.
